Now the KVINFO is a research library and a fully integrated part of the national library system in Denmark. Its primary objective is to disseminate the results of women's studies to the public. KVINFO realizes this by a wide range of activities. KVINFO also houses the Danish Women's Photo Archive (with more than 5000 photo's from the period 1880-1940), and is actively involved in various Nordic, European and international (research) projects, such as the Nordic Women's Literary History and the National Biographical Dictionary of Danish Women.
