Changing Way’s Group Counselling
Program Information
The group counselling program at Changing Ways
provides a service to men who have abused a primary partner. A companion service
is provided to the partners of these men to enhance the safety of the women and
children while the man is engaged in our program. At the same time, the contact
with partners enables our monitoring of progress in a way that does not rely
upon the man’s self-reporting.

Protest Quebec's
failure to protect sexually abused children Many
political prisoners have been released because of the letter writing campaigns
of Amnesty International. Quebec will begin to protect children if enough people
from all over the world send letters. Please read my story, and download, print,
sign, and send our letters for Quebec's children. For the price of a few postage
stamps, you can really make a difference. I will not stop until all Quebec
children are safe. Please help me make it happen!
Amnesty
for Kids Today, many children are political
prisoners. They are forced to live with sexual abuse, cruelty, humiliation and
despair because governments and politicians have not found ways to effectively
protect children from their offenders.
White
Ribbon Campaign: Near the end of 1991, a
handful of men in Ontario and Quebec decided that a white ribbon - worn during
the week leading up to the anniversary of the massacre of 14 women at Montreal's
Ecole Polytechnique - would be a symbol of men's opposition to men's violence
against women. In that first year, one hundred thousand men wore white ribbons.
Since then, the White Ribbon Campaign has spread across Canada and also to the
United States, Australia, Europe and Central America.
