Violent Men |
BrotherPeace Twin Cities - Metro Resource ListBrotherPeace Twin Cities (BPTC) has
compiled this list from information received from battered women's
shelters, intervention projects, and advocacy groups. We do not recommend
any specific resource. It is important to remembe r that the services
listed below can not make men change their behavior. They can provide
information and make suggestions, but individual change is each man's
decision. BPTC believes it is also important for programs providing
counseling, education, and treatment to be using methods that support
ending men's violence against women by holding men accountable for their
personal behavior and not by blaming women for men's violence against
them. BPTC also believes this is more effectively done in an atmosphe re
which validates malesness while renouncing violence. Organization & Program Chicano, Latino Unitos
